The regional finalists for this year’s Young Chef Young Waiter Competition have been revealed.
The chefs and waiters, who are all under the age of 25, will go on to compete at one of four regional heats.
The heats will take place at Darlington College on 4 September; University College Birmingham on 11 September; and Thames Valley University on 16 September.
The regional winners will then go forward to compete in the final at London’s Westminster Kingsway on 30 September.
All of the national finalists will win a study trip to Champagne Besserat de Bellafon in Epernay.
