The Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed Valerie Stewart as general manager of the Radisson Blu hotel, Leeds.
Stewart joined Rezidor in February 2005 as the human resources and training manager at the Radisson Blu hotel, Birmingham, later progressing to director of operations. In 2009, she transferred to the Radisson Blu hotel, Edinburgh as director of food & beverage and six months later was promoted to director of operations.
In August 2010, Stewart accepted her first general manager's role, at the Radisson Blu hotel, Liverpool.
