The Lacon Arms in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, has been sold to local leisure facilities operator Bevans of Hemsbuy, which runs amusement arcades, cafés and licensed premises in the area.
The substantial detached property is located near the beach in the holiday destination of Hemsby, where it is close to a number of holiday lets and static caravan sites.
It can seat up to 100 guests across its three-section trading area which includes a main bar with an L-shaped bar servery and split-level seating and a restaurant area.
Other facilities include a large car park and five-bedroom owners’ accommodation on the first floor.
The Ipswich office of Christie + Co sold the freehold of the pub, which had been closed, off a guide price of £225,000 on behalf of Enterprise Inns.
