The Cricketers, a tired sports bar in Stoke Newington, North London, has been converted into a Belgian-themed bar by its new owner.
Ivy Mukasa has transformed the venue into Jan’s Bar, an 80-seat venue offering a wide selection of Belgian beers, including nine on tap.
Christie Finance secured funding to help Mukasa buy the leasehold off an asking price of £75,000. The property is held on a 20-year lease with the Wellington Pub Company.
