Baxter Food Group’s George McIvor has become chairman of the Master Chefs of Great Britain.
McIvor is executive chef at Scotland’s Baxters Food Group and an advocate of the Government’s healthy eating push.
“I wish to encourage schools as much as I can to promote these fundamental messages as an integral part of the school curriculum,” said McIvor.
Founded in 1980, the professional association for chefs provides a forum for discussion for its members as well as development through training.
