Urban Leisure Group to open Central & Co Brasserie and Bar in London's West End
London bar operator the Urban Leisure Group is to open a new West End outpost this month, with the launch of Central & Co Brasserie and Bar.
Located on Great Marlboro Street, the venue will officially launch on 23 May, comprising a ground floor brasserie above a basement bar.
Head chef Mark Beardshall will create an all-day menu of seasonal British ingredients offering breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
Front of house will be headed up by general manager Richard Weaver, who said: "We will pay a lot of attention to our customers and be personable. The service will not be rushed but will be efficient and knowledgeable, both for the content of the menus and also the local area."
Interiors at Central & Co will be developed by 44th Hill and I Love Dust, featuring brass chandeliers, marble tables and vintage wall lights as well as polished concrete walls and floors, and mirrored walls.
The Urban Leisure Group is headed up by Hezi Yechiel and Dan Kattan and includes London bars Café Libre, Graphic, the Alice House, the Gallery and the Adelaide. Central & Co Brasserie and Bar is the first of two openings planned for 2012.
