Caleya Ibérica is best in capital, says critic

Caleya Ibérica

The food at Spanish restaurant Caleya Ibérica is among the best in the capital but it doesn’t live up to the standards of its original, according to the London Metro.

“Everything I eat is among the best Spanish food to be found in London,” food critic Marina O’Loughlin says.

“But none of it is as glorious as the original versions, and that's not just rose-tinted recollection.”

Meanwhile Rachel Cooke of the London Evening Standard finds the food and décor at Twotwentytwo at the Landmark hotel lacking in imagination. She calls the menu “bog-standard hotel fare”.

Time Out’s Guy Dimond says although the kitchen is still finding its feet, he is impressed by the Sicilian food on offer at Caponata.
