2006 Roux Scholar dies after long illness

Pravin Sharma, the 2006 Roux Scholar, has passed away, the Roux Scholarship announced today.

The sous chef at London's Courthouse Hotel Kempinski had been suffering from Leukaemia in recent months and was undergoing a course of treatment.

In a statement, the Roux Scholarship, said: “Our deepest sympathies are extended to his wife Asta and the rest of his family.

“He will be sorely missed by his fellow Scholars, the Roux family and all those privileged to know him.”
