Crown Inn, Ibberton, Devon

Publicans David and Louise Williams are the new owners of the Crown Inn, a Grade II-listed country freehouse in the village of Ibberton in Devon.

The couple have run a pub near Gillingham in Dorset for the past few years and wanted to stay in the area.

The pub, which has a large garden, is a focal point for village life and is located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Parts of the property are believed to date back to the 16th century.

The freehouse was sold for the asking price of £450,000 by the Southampton office of agent Colliers Robert Barry.
