Jamie's Italian

Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has unveiled a sixth site for his high street restaurant concept Jamie’s Italian, with the opening of an outlet in Cardiff next year.

Jamie’s Italian launched with a restaurant in Oxford in June this year and gained wide critical acclaim. A second outlet opened in Bath in September, with a restaurant in Kingston set to launch on 17 November and sites in Cambridge and Brighton to follow next year.

Jamie’s Italian in Cardiff will be located in a 480 sq m site in the city’s St David’s 2 retail development. Set to launch in autumn next year, it will be housed in The Hayes where restaurant chains including Wagamama, Strada and Gourmet Burger Kitchen will also be present.

Jamie's Italian serves classic Italian food at affordable prices, inspired by the dishes in Oliver's cookbooks. The menu offers a range of pasta dishes that are freshly prepared on site as well as a selection of fresh breads, antipasti, salads, grills and Italian desserts.

"It's all about bringing my food to the public and offering them the best value for money they can get," Oliver said.
