Delaware North to open four new outlets at Glasgow Airport

Delaware North has announced four new operations at Glasgow Airport as part of a £1.5m food court revamp.

As part of the redevelopment, which begins this month, the caterer will introduce four bespoke food concepts to the airport: a sports bar and grill; a deli; an assisted buffet style restaurant and a café bar.

Expected to open by Easter, they will be located landside adjacent to departures and opposite international arrivals.

Managing director Simon Dobson said Delaware North has worked closely with the local team at BAA Glasgow to create "innovative concepts and service solutions".

"We are both delighted to and proud to have formed this new partnership," he added.

The US-based caterer, which also looks after hospitality at Wembley Stadium and Arsenal's Emirates Stadium, has already bolstered its offer at Edinburgh Airport with the introduction of the 32-cover Thermidors Seafood and Champagne Bar last month.

The Fringe Bar and Eating Place will follow hot on its heels, when it opens in February taking the total number of Delaware North outlets at the airport to four.
