Planning permission has been granted to property developers Chelsfield Partners for two new luxury hotels in London, providing a further 350 bedrooms for the capital by 2012.The company has been given approval to redevelop the Park Lane Mews hotel in Stanhope Row, behind the Hilton on Park Lane. Designed by Eric Parry Architects, the 75-bedroom property will be Mayfair's latest five-star boutique hotel. Consent has also been given for the development of a 240-bedroom, four-star hotel with conference facilites in Shepherd’s Bush Green on the site of a former cinema. Architect Hamiltons will be the designer of this property.
