Leisure village operator Center Parcs will have to wait until May to find out if its bid to build a fifth UK site in Bedfordshire will get the go ahead.
Council officials will meet to discuss the planning application for the new resort in Warren Wood, near Woburn, then.
Center Parcs submitted the application in July 2005 after six months of public consultation.
The 365-acre Warren Wood site will cost in the region of £160m to build and, like other villages, will provide accommodation, sport and swimming facilities, a variety of restaurants and an Aqua Sana spa.
Center Parcs already operates four short-break holiday villages in Nottinghamshire, Wiltshire, Suffolk and Cumbria.
It hopes to have its new site up and running by Summer 2008.
