Restaurant tycoon Richard Caring plans to expand his empire by opening an Ivy hotel next door to his legendary Ivy restaurant in London.
In an interview with the American magazine, Women’s Wear Daily, he said the hotel would have about 50 to 60 bedrooms and would take a couple of years to develop.
If the hotel goes ahead, it will join a portfolio of properties operated by Caring which includes Le Caprice, Dean Street Townhouse and Soho House with outlets in London, New York and West Hollywood.
