Coffeeheaven increases sales by 68%
Central European coffee bar business Coffeeheaven has announced a 68% year-on-year increase in net sales to £6.4m in the 12 months ended 31 March. The Alternative Investment Market-listed coffee bar business has increased its total number of stores to 52, and plans to have 63 by 31 March 2007.

Hyatt opens in Lost Pines, Texas
Hyatt has opened a new hotel in the Lost Pines region of Central Texas. The Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa has 492 bedrooms, a mile of river frontage and offers a selection of outdoor activities.

IHG to open a hospitality training school in Panama
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Panamanian property developer Empresas Bern plan to open a hospitality training school in Panama. The Holiday Inn Hotel and School Panama Canal will have 110 bedrooms and will be the first educational institute for IHG in Latin America.

Fairmont plans resort on California's Monteray Bay
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts plans to build a new resort in Seaside, on Monteray Bay in northern California. The development, in conjunction with Seaside Resort Development, will include 24,000sq ft of meeting space, a Willow Stream spa, dining outlets, an outdoor pool and a 36-hole golf course.

Dubai to have Premier Travel Inn
The first Premier Travel Inn outside the UK is to be built in the UAE. Dubai Investments Park has signed an agreement with the Emirates Group to add a Premier Travel Inn to its premises. Construction of the 300-bedroom hotel will commence this year and is expected to be completed in late 2007.

Radisson Edwardian to be a premier partner with Visit London
Radisson Edwardian Hotels has become the first partner to sign a four-year deal with marketing body Visit London. As a premier partner, the hotel chain will now benefit from a range of services including sales, public relations and marketing support for its 11 hotels in and around the capital.
