Marketing Lancashire appoints Ruth Connor as chief executive

Marketing Lancashire, the organisation created to promote the county, has appointed its first chief executive. Ruth Connor (centre), previously managing director of Shearings Holidays, will work alongside Paul Heathcote (left), recently appointed as chairman, to spearhead Marketing Lancashire's work to support the visitor economy and attract investment to the county.
