The Mercer Street hotel in London's Covent Garden has reopened following the completion of a £15m refurbishment project.

Previously called the Mountbatten, Mercer Street is part of the Radisson Edwardian hotels group and is located in Seven Dials Village, close to shops, restaurants and theatres.

Each of the 137 bedrooms features Apple TV technology and free Wi-Fi, and guests can also benefit from a free printing service.

The property includes eight suites as well as six meeting rooms capable of accommodating between six and 50 people.

Dial, the hotel's bar and restaurant, serves modern European dishes prepared with British produce, while a meze menu is available at the bar.

Dawn Thomas, general manager of Mercer Street, said: "Business and leisure travellers now have a retreat that enables them to enjoy London to the full, in comfort and in style."

The Mercer Street is also a partner of VisitBritain and London theatre the Donmar Warehouse.
