Design improvements mean Victor's Synergy line of refrigerated and heated drop-in counter units use 50% less energy than their predecessors and are now even easier to fit into customised counter displays.

Their polished gantries and toughened glass complement all styles of food display units including standalone models, counter runs and multi-tiered cabinets.

There are five heated drop-in models, each available in up to five sizes. Food is kept at the correct temperature by heat below and quartz halogen heat lamps above, both individually controlled. The controls can be mounted in the gantry or in a remote panel on the counter body up to 1m from the unit.

The 10 refrigerated models include blown-air decks, wells, delis and multi-tiers. They meet the EN ISO 23953 standard by keeping pre-chilled foods below 5°C in ambient temperatures of up to 27°C and relative humidity of 50%. The chilled units are lit by fluorescent tubes and feature top-mounted controls and self-evaporating condense systems.

Prices start from £2,555 for refrigerated units and £1,600 for heated models. Caterers can design their own serveries using the drop-ins by using the online Synergy Technical Manual and downloading the AutoCAD blocks.
