Steve Love decides to stay put

Chef Steve Love has taken his Warwickshire restaurant, Love's, off the market. Love confirmed that he would be refurbishing the eaterie instead of moving his business to a new site.

Love, the 1997 winner of the Roux Scholarship, had planned to move on from the Leamington Spa restaurant to a nearby pub owned by a family friend. However, the deal for the new business has fallen through and he and his partner, Claire Thorpe, now intend to spend between £10,000 and £15,000 on redecorating the restaurant.

The work will be carried out during the first week of March.
