Will hospitality operators pay bonuses despite the recession?

The author of the annual Pay for Performance survey into the executive pay in the hospitality and leisure industry is conducting research into whether operators are planning bonuses this year.

Janet Salmon wants to know whether companies in the sector are planning to offer bonuses this year and if so, what their targets are.

She is asking whether financial targets have changed because of the recession and if some companies think bonuses won’t trigger.

Salmon is also focused on whether executives, management or all employees are participating in the bonus scheme and how much the bonuses could be worth and how they will be paid, either in cash or shares.
