Principal Leisure administrator puts nine restaurants and bars up for sale

Begbies Traynor, the administrator of Principle Leisure Group has put nine restaurants and bars up for sale through property agent Christie & Co.

The nine sites are located in Nottingham, Sheffield and the North-east of England - six in city centre locations and the others in provincial residential areas.

They consist of eight leaseholds and one freehold site and offers are sought for either the group, or on an individual-site basis.

The full list of businesses available is:

â- San Lorenzo Restaurant, Cramlington
â- San Lorenzo Restaurant, Gosforth
â- Saltwater, Nottingham
â- Popolo, Newcastle
â- Popolo, Sheffield
â- Popolo in the Garden, Newcastle
â- Establishment Bar, Sunderland
â- The Blackbird, Newcastle

Simon Chaplin, director at Christie & Co, says: "Opportunities to acquire a group of bars and restaurants of this quality do not come around too often. All are presented to a high standard in modern, traditional or listed buildings. Whether wet-or-dry led, each site offers a quality product and we are already receiving a great deal of interest."
