Field Lane tries out fine dining
Care home provider Field Lane will next week turn one of its homes into a fine-dining restaurant. The initiative, at its site in Reigate, Surrey, aims to enable residents and their families to have a restaurant experience without the need to go out. The group, which specialises in caring for people with dementia, said going out for a meal could prove "stressful and traumatic". It will offer fine wine and food over the seven days. If successful, the project will be repeated at its other site in Worthing, West Sussex.
