Sodexo has scooped a two-year deal to provide catering services to Caterham School in the Harestone Valley, Surrey.

The £2m contract, due to begin in September, will see Sodexo catering to the school’s 1,135 pupils, aged three to 18, each week.

Catering will also be provided for the school’s 180 staff members, as well as external and bespoke events such as summer school, sports day and open evenings.

John King, Caterham School bursar, said: “We look forward to developing our relationship with Sodexo, whose innovative approach demonstrated their commitment to continuous excellence.

“Sodexo’s extensive experience in the market will enable them to better suit the needs of our incredibly diverse pupils,” added King, in reference to the many international students from more than 25 different countries.

The 23 members of staff employed by Sodexo will be introducing its Feedlife offer to the school, which includes traditional dishes with influences from around the globe using fresh and seasonal produce.
