Tony Leech has returned to the post of managing director of Sodexo Justice Services, the company's UK prison business, following a two-year hiatus in Australia.
He succeeds Phil Andrew, who was recently promoted to chief financial officer for Sodexo UK and Ireland.
Leech previously held this role from 2007 to 2009 before leaving the business to take up the position of deputy secretary for the Department of Justice in Melbourne, Victoria.
He said: "I am delighted to be coming back to the UK and Sodexo Justice Services. It's an exciting time for the company and I look forward to all of the challenges that lie ahead."
Aidan Connolly, Sodexo chief executive, welcomed Leech back to the UK and Ireland business. "I am confident he will pick up the mantle from Phil Andrew and continue to grow and develop our justice market offer with tremendous success."
