Adding a WP4 heat pump to Meiko's K-Tronic series rack transport dishwashers will significantly reduce energy use and thus cut running costs.
The pump recycles heat efficiently, eliminates the need for heating elements in wash tanks, and reduces the heating load of the final rinse booster heater to just 6kW.
When used in conjunction with a heat recovery condenser and heated drying system in a standard K200VP warewasher, the WP4 will reduce the connected load from 38.5kW to 24kW.
It also eliminates the need for direct waste air extraction and helps created a less steamy working environment.
