Menu Systems Slide Control

The award-winning Menu Systems Slide Control boosts the energy-saving power of already energy-efficient induction hob technology.

There are no visible controls on each unit of 12 hobs. Moving the pan from the centre of the hob (which operates at full power) towards the edges reduces power consumption, with a digital display confirming the move from boil to simmer.

Each hob is independently controlled so caterers can cook foods at different temperatures in different parts of the unit. The hobs can detect not only the presence of a pan but also the type of pan, and so can adjust its performance for optimum efficiency.

The bespoke, stainless steel appliances integrate into stainless-steel worktops to work like solid-tops, making them highly suitable for front-of-house use. The system won the Ranges, Fryers and Ovens category in Caterer's Equipment & Supplies Excellence Awards 2008.
