Focus water boiler

The humble water boiler has undergone a makeover for Moffat's new Focus range of automatic-fill models. The trio of newcomers have been spruced up with Spritzer-finish panels which sport a mottled metallic surface that contrasts with the polished stainless steel surround. The Spritzer panels are tough, durable and light and provide extra insulation.

The smallest model, the X6AB3, works on a 3kW supply and offers a 16-litre capacity and a 35-litre-per-hour output. It boils from cold in 20 minutes and has a flow rate of 7.5 litres per hour, with up to 10 litres available for rapid draw-off.

The two larger models (X6AB6 and X6AB6T) require a 6kW supply and offer a choice of one or two taps. Both have a 30-litre tank, 50-litre output, 30-minute boiling time and 20-litre rapid-draw off. All three incorporate a steam condenser, descale system with drain trap, large drip-tray, stainless steel interiors, electronic protection from high or low water levels and safety thermostat.

Wall brackets, filters and scale-reduction units are among the optional accessories.
