OptiFresh Bean is the latest vending machine for freshly ground and brewed coffee and other hot drinks from Netherlands-based manufacturer Animo. The machine can generate 120 cups of 120ml per hour and allows easy adjustment of coffee strength and volumes of milk and sugar.
The basic unit - which features an easily removed and cleaned permanent filter in place of a paper filter - comes with a three-litre stainless steel boiler and 2.5kg canister for the fresh coffee beans and incorporates a cleaning programme, a descale indicator and dry-boil protection. Up to three extra canisters can be added to the basic unit to expand the range of drinks beyond coffee and hot water to include chocolate, coffee chocolate, cappuchino, Wiener Melange, latte macchiato, and instant espresso.
