Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has appointed Liam Lambert as operations director, Europe.
Lambert was general manager of the five-star Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel in the capital.
In his new role he will oversee the group’s portfolio in Europe and the Middle East.
He previously worked as general manager of the group’s flagship property in Hong Kong.
Christoph Mares, previously general manager at the group’s Royal Monceau hotel, has taken over as general manager of Hyde Park.
He has previously worked at the property as resident manager.
