Joël Robuchon because he retired before I had a job that paid enough money to eat in restaurants other than McDonald's. He's such a talented chef that I'd have paid anything to eat his food at Jamin when he was cooking there.
What wine would you match with the dishes?
You can't take your money with you, so Pétrus, Margaux, and so on.
What kind of bread would you serve?
Pain Poilâne, warm with salty butter.

My family (that's six), my three best mates (Trev, Paul and Matt), Claudio Pulze, Robbie Williams and Uma Thurman for a private moment...
What music would you choose?
1980s music - New Order, Afrika Bambaataa. Sad but true, you can't choose when you're born.
Who would you invite to play the music?
Madness and Spandau Ballet front man Tony Hadley for my big sis, Vicky, who had a crush on him at school.
Which flowers would you have decorating the table?
None - they get in the way of conversation, and if it's my last day I don't want to stare at flowers all the time.
What would you wear?
Shorts and a T-shirt.
Which critic would you bar at the door?
Tempting... but I still have a long career ahead of me, so I'd better keep my mouth shut.
Who would you have as your after-dinner speaker?
Tiger Woods for me and the old man, and maybe Tom Jones for Mum.

Arabic coffee.

Just plain chocolate truffles laced with brandy.
