Hilton Hotels Corporation has sold four more of its Homewood Suites by Hilton in two transactions worth about $40m (£25.4m) in total. The proceeds will be used by Hilton to reduce debt.
Hilton retains long-term management and franchise agreements for all four properties.
The company has now sold 16 of the 19 Homewood Suites it acquired as part of its 1999 purchase of Promus Hotel Corporation. There are a total of 122 Homewood Suites by Hilton properties throughout the USA.
