Wednesday 06 June 2007 10:17
The sandwich market continues to grow, with total sales up to £3.6b in 2005, according to Mintel. For caterers producing sandwich selections, the Lion range of products provides Thick & Creamy Mayonnaise, Lite Mayonnaise, Garlic Mayonnaise and Salad Cream in economy pack sizes.

Lion's choice of dressings incorporating flavours from around the globe includes Thousand Island, Blue Cheese, Caesar, Cajun & Tomato, French, Honey & Mustard, Sour Cream & Chive, Yoghurt & Mint and Prawn Cocktail, which can all add a different twist to traditional sandwich offerings.

Serving suggestions include grilled chicken breast and lettuce with Honey & Mustard dressing in a floury bloomer; and lamb slices, marinated in Indian spices before cooking, in a naan or chapatti topped with Yoghurt & Mint dressing.

Prep Foodservice is offering four Buy It! readers a selection of 2.27-litre containers of mayonnaise and dressings. To be in with a chance, email your name, job title, company name and address to Proactive Communications.
