Production company Twenty Twenty Television is on the hunt for a chef aged over 50 that is keen to show old doesn’t mean past it and an enthusiastic young chef aged 18 to 21 to compete head-to-head in a new BBC2 primetime show, Grandad’s back in Business.

Due to air this autumn, the producers are looking to recruit a rookie chef and an older wannabe-back-in the-game chef to follow as they attempt to break into the kitchen of a top restaurant and compete for a job.

At the end of a one-month probation period a winner will be chosen and offered further work by the head chef that has mentored them.

Candidates must be London based and those interested in applying should call 0207 284 1441 or e-mail chloehuntly@twentytwenty.tv
