Catey winner John Hoskins has completed the sale of his three-pub restaurants to concentrate on his Old Bridge hotel.
The Falcon at Fotheringhay, near Oundle, has been bought by a local family, Harry and Sally Facer from Wansford, for an undisclosed price.
Early this year Hoskins sold two Huntsbridge group owned pub-restaurants to their existing management teams.
Richard Stokes, chef-patron of the Three Horseshoes at Madingley for the past 14 years, bought the business located near Cambridge and Jay and Taffeta Scrimshaw have taken over the Pheasant Inn at Keyston, near Thrapston, west Cambridgeshire.
Hoskins, managing director of the Huntsbridge Group, won Caterer’s Pub and Bar Industry award in 2004.
The Old Bridge at Huntingdon, an 18th century building on thee banks of the Ouse, is currently undergoing a bedroom refurbishment with plans to open a new courtyard at the entrance of the building later this year.
Hoskins also plans a wine shop at the site.
