The dispute over Oliver Peyton's Atlantic Bar & Grill continues with no resolution in sight.
The restaurant and bar shut last month after landlord the Regent Palace Hotel (RPH) sent the bailiffs in.
Sources close to RPH suggested the bar was more than a year behind with its rent. They hinted the debt had grown over a number of years, following a dispute over a rent review, and had now hit "a six figure sum".
Peyton admitted that he owed RPH money but denied his business had gone into administration. He told Caterer: "I had no idea that this was going to happen. I want to resolve the matter, reopen the Atlantic and just get on with the rest of my life."
If no resolution is agreed, the Atlantic could remain closed until Peyton's contract with RPH ends in 14 months' time, and ownership of the property reverts to the Crown Estate.
