Video: Fire rips through Hungry Horse pub in Yeovil

A Hungry Horse pub in Yeovil, Somerset has been severely damaged by fire over the weekend.

The fire is understood to have started at the Greene King-owned site in the early hours of Sunday.

Devon Fire and Rescue said it had received "numerous calls" about the blaze.

Much of the ground and first floors of the building were engulfed in flames but no-one was hurt.

Fire investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.

A Hungry Horse spokesperson said: "Unfortunately the Bell suffered from a major fire in the early hours of Sunday morning. Thankfully no-one was on site and everyone is safe. The pub will not be open for the foreseeable future and we are working with the emergency services to establish the cause."
