The three-star Mont Clare Guest House in the centre of York has been sold to local first-time buyers.
The guesthouse, in a quiet cul-de-sac, is made up of two formerly separate terraced properties.
Along with eight en-suite bedrooms, it provides a 16-seat lounge/dining room along with separate one-bedroom accommodation for the owners.
The Leeds office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £660,000 to Dave and Linda Blackburn.
