The Grange Country House hotel at Keswick on Derwentwater in Cumbria has changed hands.
The five diamond-rated guesthouse commands Lakeland views from its location on Manor Brow and it is encircled by walks to local landmarks.
It offers ten en-suite, individually-decorated bedrooms, a breakfast room, and a licensed residential lounge.
New owner Mark Huit and Sally Lansbury move to Keswick from Penrith.
The Manchester office of Colliers Robert Barry sold the hotel off a guide price of £1.5m on behalf of Duncan and Jane Miller, who have run the business since 1987.
