The two-star Craigdarroch Arms hotel in the heart of the Dumfries village of Moniaive has been sold to Gary Henry.
The hotel, which enjoys year-round trade, is sited on the popular A702 cross-country route from Edinburgh to Newton Stuart.
Built in 1850, the property offers eight bedrooms to sleep 14 guests, including one family room and seven en-suite rooms.
Facilities include a lounge bar, a public bar and the Macaras restaurant which has its own dance floor and can seat 75 guests at functions. Outside there is a garden and a beer garden.
The first-floor owners’ accommodation includes two bedrooms, a sitting room and a bathroom and two further rooms are available in the attic.
