The general manager at the Glasshouse in Worcester has insisted it’s business as usual, despite the arrest of owner Brandon Weston.
Weston, a former Catey winner for Best Independent Marketing Campaign, was arrested by police officers as part of an investigation into the theft of up to £520,000 from his letting and real estate agency Premier Places.
Weston, who was released on bail until May, told a local newspaper he was helping police with their inquiries and insisted it was business as usual for both Premier Places and the Glasshouse.
This was echoed by Glasshouse general manager Tim Churchman, who told Caterersearch the inquiry had “nothing to do with the restaurant”.
“Weston is one of three shareholders in the restaurant and this relates to a completely different company so it really has nothing to do with the Glasshouse,” he said.
Weston owns three businesses including Premier Places, property development firm Altier, and the Glasshouse.
