Hereford Road, the neighbourhood restaurant in London’s Notting Hill, is to remain open despite the sudden death of its co-owner Alexander Mosley.

The 39-year-old, son of Formula 1 chief Max Mosley, was confirmed dead after police were called to his home in Notting Hill on Tuesday. He reportedly died of a drugs overdose.

Mosley was listed as a director of Hereford Road, which he set up in 2007 with his friend and leading chef Tom Pemberton. The pair met at Westminster School.

The restaurant is making no official comment at this stage, but, speaking to the Daily Telegraph about Mosley, duty manager Emmanuel Guerra said: “He seemed fine and happy. He was just a normal man, everyone liked him and he came in often.”
