Selfridges food hall is to play host to the latest concession of the rapidly-expanding salad bar chain Chop’d.

The latest opening adds to the brand’s six retail outlets across London and Chop’d hopes to capitalise on the high footfall of the prime site of the store and the Oxford Street area and bring their healthy salads to a wider consumer audience.

The company hopes to tap into the shoppers and tourist market, while broadening its existing fixed office and commuter trade.

Ewan Venters, Selfridges food and restaurant director, said: “The introduction of the Chop’d concession into Selfridges food hall will provide our customers with a quality healthy food offering. We are confident that Chop’d will be successful in Selfridges.”

Chop’d entered the market in 2004 and has grown rapidly opening stores in prime locations across London, including Leadenhall Market, Canary Wharf, Curzon Street, St Pancras, Spitalfields and High Holborn.
