Rezidor SAS has completed a deal to lease eight former Moat House Hotels.

A ninth hotel will be run as a long-term management contract by Rezidor. All nine sites will be rebranded as Park Inns.

The three-star hotels are located in Cardiff, Birmingham, Nottingham, Telford, Lakeside, Bedford, Harlow, Watford and Northampton.

New landlords, the Landesberg and Rosenberg family, own the hotels with Galliard homes through newly created holding company Jefferson Hotels.

The influential property tycoons are behind pub company Admiral Taverns and also helped set up Folio Hotels, which has the management contract for London’s St James’s Club hotel.
