Caterer and Hotelkeeper’s Equipment & Supplies Excellence Awards 2009 launched

Entries are now being sought for Caterer and Hotelkeeper’s Equipment & Supplies Excellence Awards 2009.

The awards recognise innovation and enterprise in the development of professional catering equipment and supplies.

There are 15 categories including Best Installation and Best Maintenance case studies for the installation of equipment in both back and front of house locations.

A panel of judges will assess entry submissions for evidence of fresh thinking, significant advances in design, cost effectiveness in use, and innovative application of technology.

Last year’s winners included WMF’s Bistro! coffee machine; IMC’s food waste recycling system, which scooped the Green Award; and the Winterhalter GS500 Energy+ dishwasher.

The Best Installation Case Study award went to CCS Refrigeration & Air conditioning for its refrigeration installation project at Arsenal FC’s Emirates Stadium in north London.

Winners will be announced on 19 January 2009 during the annual Hospitality exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham.

Entrants are requested to submit a 500 word case study, colour images and any relevant marketing brochures plus the entry fee of £150 plus VAT (£176.25) to Lisa Goold, project manager, Caterer and Hotelkeeper, ESEA 2009, Quadrant House, Sutton, Surrey, SM2 5AS.
