The UKBA said it is thought he presented a counterfeit French passport to get the job.
Worrall Thompson’s business has been warned it faces a fine if it can’t prove the correct checks were carried out prior to employment.
A second man was also arrested at the Pizza and Kebab House in nearby Twickenham on the same day. It is alleged that the 30-year-old Pakistani’s visa had expired.
Both men have been given immigration bail while the UKBA works to get travel documents to remove them.
