La Tasca Group is in preliminary takeover talks with an unnamed suitor, the tapas restaurant chain has revealed.
In a statement to the London Stock Market today, the company said the talks may or may not lead to an offer being made for its issued share capital.
La Tasca, which has more than 50 outlets across the UK, is being advised on its strategic options by financial services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.
La Tasca operates the La Tasca, the La Viña and Sam and Maxie’s restaurant brands, in the UK. It also operates four La Tasca units in the USA.
