Gordon Ramsay has teamed up with Compass Group’s fine-dining business Restaurant Associates, Caterersearch can reveal.

The partnership, Gordon Ramsay at Restaurant Associates (RA), will see Gordon Ramsay Holdings chefs Jason Atherton and Angela Hartnett introduce their menus into RA’s hospitality business.

As part of the tie-up, Compass chefs will spend time in the kitchens at Gordon Ramsay Holdings to add to and refine their skills.

RA chefs will also have access to a specifically designed set of signature menus and recipes compiled through regular workshops with the Ramsay chefs.

Jason Leek, managing director of RA, said: “This offer brings numerous benefits for our clients. RA is increasingly looking to bring restaurant quality food into its client offer.”

Ramsay, who has also worked in partnership with rival contract caterer Aramark, added: “This is an exciting new venture for Gordon Ramsay Holdings. It enables us to have a presence in the City without the constraints of running a restaurant with little or no evening and weekend trade.”

Last month RA chef Daniel Cox became the first ever contract catering recipient of the Roux Scholarship.

Compass Group’s tie up with Gary Rhodes, Rhodes W1, was rewarded with a Michelin star in January.
