Scolarest wins Welsh school contract
Compass Group education division Scolarest has won a five-year contract to provide catering services at the 660-pupil Penweddig school in Aberystwyth, Wales. The deal will turnover £175,000 a year and see 10 Scolarest staff work on site. The contract was previously run by Atkins Asset Management.
 
Elderly in Haringey to get hot-meal service from Sodexho
Sodexho Home Service has been awarded a five-year contract to provide a hot-meals service in the London borough of Haringey for five years, with a two-year extension option. The deal, which begins in July, will turnover £600,000 a year and deliver 135,000 hot meals to elderly residents of the borough. Forty Sodexho staff will work on the contract, which was previously operated in-house.

Universal Sodexho wins Ensco and Danish oil company contract
Universal Sodexho has won a contract with Ensco to provide catering, housekeeping and laundry services on five of its offshore drilling rigs in the North Sea. The one-year deal, which will turnover £2.5m a year, started on 31 May. Eighty Sodexho staff will work on the contract, which was previously run by Trinity. 

It has also won a multi-services deal with Danish oil and gas company DONG at a platform in the Danish North Sea. The four-year contract, which has an option to extend for two years, will provide catering hygiene and heli-admin operations and will turnover £300,000 a year. Eight Sodexho staff will work on the contract, which was previously run by ESS.

College signs Sodexho in five-year catering and cleaning contract
Sodexho has been awarded a five-year contract to provide catering and cleaning services at four CITB-ConstructionSkills colleges in the UK. The deal, which will turnover £1.6m a year, is for sites in Glasgow, Birmingham, Bircham Newton in Norfolk and Erith in Kent. Seventy-four Sodexho staff will work on the contract, which has been extended at Glasgow and Erith and was previously run by Mitie at Birmingham and Bircham Newton.
