Orrery's head chef hopes to regain Michelin star

Igor Tymchyshyn, head chef at D&D London’s Orrery, has spoken of his intention to regain the restaurant’s Michelin accreditation.

The former Mirabelle chef joined the Marylebone restaurant in February replacing former head chef Tristan Mason, who left just weeks after it was excluded from the Michelin guide having held a star for eight years.

Speaking to Caterersearch, Tymchyshyn said: “I’m really enjoying working at Orrery and am cooking at my top level. I will try very hard to regain the restaurant’s Michelin star.” 

Tymchyshyn is Orrery’s fourth head chef in two years. Former head chefs André Garrett and Allan Pickett both left to join the Galvin brothers in 2006 and 2007 respectively.
