Curzon puts two hotels up for sale

Curzon Hotels have put two hotels, managed under the Thistle brand in London and Brighton, on the market with a joint price tag of £72m.

The four-star, 129-bedroom Kingsley by Thistle hotel, near Covent Garden, is being marketed at £42m, while £30m is being sought for the four-star, 210 bedroom Thistle Brighton, which is situated on the seafront close to Brighton Pier.

CBRE Hotels, who has been appointed to sell the properties, said that both hotels are "performing well under the current challenging trading conditions and have the potential for future growth".

The Kingsley by Thistle and the Thistle Brighton are being offered for sale with the benefit of a management contract with Guoman Hotel Management (UK).
